TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Rental 

​

1.1 The Booking Details contains information regarding travel directions, contact details, and the time at which the coliving property is ready for check-in. The key will only be provided if the full rent has been paid in accordance with the booking conditions and upon presentation of the Booking Details and a valid Government ID

1.2 We acknowledge you are booking a specific unit. Following the booking, we will place you in the corresponding unit. Once in residence, we reserve the right to reassign you to a different unit should we deem it necessary or appropriate.

 

2. Renters

2.1 When booking a coliving property, the guest making the booking, and staying, must be at least 18 years old, and you warrant that you are at least 18 years old.  Casa Kandamy is entitled to reject a Renter if the Age limit is not met. 

​

2.2 At any time, the booked room/bed may not be occupied by more than the maximum number of renters stated on the Booking Details or what has been agreed to. Additional beds/guests are allowed only upon prior agreement.

 

3. Booking & Payment

​

3.1 While booking a room in Casa Kandamy you are booking: accommodation, bills, breakfast and cleaning services included. There aren’t any additional charges on the spot. 

​

3.2 The room is considered reserved for you only after full payment has been received. 

​

3.4 There are additional services that can be booked with arrival such as: excursions, events, and groceries. 

​

3.5 The payment should be complete & made in full at least 5 (five) working days before the guest's arrival. 

 

4. Duration

​

4.1 The duration of this agreement is no less than 15 (fifteen) calendar days and cannot exceed more than 90 (ninety) calendar days. The exact dates are to be specified in the confirmation email along with the Booking Details. 

​

4.2 In case the guest wants to prolong their stay - no additional agreement is required, the same Term of Use will apply to the extended time period. Time period should be confirmed via email along with the Booking Details. 

 

5. Cancellation 

​

5.0 You are entitled to full refund if you cancel more than 30 (thirty) days prior to your check-in date

​

5.1. You are entitled to 50% refund if you cancel more than 10 (ten) days prior to your check-in date

​

5.2 In case of late cancellation (less than 9 (nine) days prior to your arrival date) there will be no refund of the paid total.

​

5.3 If by any reason the coliving will be canceled by Casa Kandamy you will receive a full refund.

​

5.4. You are allowed to reschedule your coliving stay once, but any additional changes will result in a penalty fee of 15% of your total cost added on.

 

5.5 Refund are not given in the following circumstances :

​

- accommodation is not to your taste

- accommodation that is not in line with religious ideology

- accommodation that has noise complaints

- accommodation that has a minor malfunction that could not have been known in advance

- the guest fails to report the issue within the first 24 hours after the move-in date 

- the guest has not followed check-in instructions or does not show up by any reason

​

5.6 These actions will result in immediate termination of this agreement with no refund: 

​

- Smoking inside the building (including inside private rooms);

- Conduct that threatens the safety of other renters, staff, or community members;

- Possession of, or threatened use of a weapon;

- Any discriminatory harassment or sexual misconduct;

- Theft of or destruction of premises or other community members' property;

- Illegal drug possession or use on property or at events;

- Committing any felony during your stay;

 

6. Liability

6.1 You are liable to Casa Kandamy for any damage to the coliving property and/or its inventory/furniture/appliances or facilities committed during the rental period. Damage to the coliving property and/or its inventory made during the rental period must immediately be reported to Casa Kandamy. You shall not make any changes in the Premises or change the appearance of any walls, floors, carpeting, windows, doors, appliances, or fixtures within your room or common areas.

6.2 You shall responsibly treat the accommodation and must return it in the same condition as it was received. 

 

7. Processing of personal information

​

7.1 Casa Kandamy may collect and process personal information about you necessary for a contract’s performance between you and Casa Kandamy. 

​

Casa Kandamy  will not process additional personal information without your prior consent, unless you have broken any laws and that your info is evidence in a case against you. You have a right to request access to and rectification of personal information about you. You also have the right to object to our processing of personal information about you, and you have a right to complain to a supervisory authority.

​

General House Rules:

●    No partying or after parties (We will arrange events as a community through your stay)
●    No smoking, there is no designated smoking area in the house. If you feel the need to have a smoke, take that as an opportunity to take a stroll through the neighborhood.
●    No pets, we love pets in our home, but for the safety of our guests and the house we have opted to not allow pets into the house.
●    No use of drugs or smoking devices is allowed in the house.
●    Be respectful of other members of the house when they work, sleep, eat and train, we all share this space with different schedules. 
●    Don’t lend your keys to anyone or leave them unattended in a common space. Don’t duplicate keys. Misplaced keys will have a replacement fee of 50,000 Colombian Pesos.  
●    Maintain a respectful level of volume, especially between 10 pm and 7 am. 
●    Do not walk in underpants around the house.
●    2 guests are allowed per room, they must provide a legal I.D and cannot stay pass 9pm on weekdays and 10 p.m on weekends. Stays of more than twice a week are considered tenants and will be charged a standard fees.

Rooms

●    Rooms cannot subleased.
●    Guests assume all responsibility for their own valuables and should invest in their travel insurance to cover expensive items.
●    Kitchen utensils and meals are not allowed inside the rooms. 
●    All lights should be turned off when leaving the room
●    No changes to the room can be made. If needed, ask for permission first. 
●    Every room contains a set of towels and bed sheets. Missing any of these will have a surcharge added at the end of your stay.

Kitchen

●    It’s a shared space, so treat it and others with respect.
●    Clean up after yourself immediately and accordingly. 
●    All kitchen utensils remain in the kitchen. They should not be found in other areas dirty or unattended.
●    Use each utensil for its purpose, if you need a specific tool don’t hesitate to ask.
●    Don’t leave the kitchen unattended while cooking, it can be dangerous for you and others.
●    Dispose of your waste correctly.

Pool

●    Pool hours are from 8 AM-7P.M
●    Glass is not  allowed in or around the pool area.
●    Shower before entering the pool
●    DO NOT enter the pool if you're under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
●    No horse playing.
●    No breathwork practices are performed unless supervised.

​

Co Work & Social Areas

●    Be respectful of the use of these areas by keeping them tidy.
●    Don’t be a distraction while others work.
●    Look after your belongings and dont leave them unattended. 
●    The music is controlled by the host, you may request a song or playlist at any time. 
●    Unplug your devices if they are charged or not being used. 
●    The Movement space is to be used by anyone during appropriate hours.
●    Place every tool back in its original space.
●    Clean up the training tools and space after being used.
